I know what you are thinking, what it is October 6th and we are getting a newsletter already …. haha. Ok, ok, I am just trying to get caught up with all I have going on. So like the title mentions, Virtual Greyhawk Con is currently going on with tons of events, games and seminars going on from a wide variety of gamers and editions. Troll Lord Games, Gamescape 3D and other sponsors have giveaways going on during streams. Last night I organized a seminar called “Self Publishing”. The idea was to help educate and possible inspire people who may be on the fence about creating content. Most people would find writing an adventure or gazetteer a fairly daunting task. I gathered special guests: Mike Shea – Slyflourish, Carlos Lising – Casl Entertainment, William Henry Dvorak – Wicked Studios, and Dan Smith <SMIF> to share their expertise and stories with a small audience for this purpose. Everyone seemed to have a great time, had great questions for our special guests, and everyone knocked it out of the park with the information shared to all. Here is an MP3 file of the seminar for you to listen to:
Tonight at 7pm there is an “Ask the Experts panel” being streamed at https://www.twitch.tv/lordgosumba with special guests Roger E. Moore, Joe Bloch, Denis Tetreault (Maldin), and Allan Grohe (Grodog). Virtual Greyhawk Con TTE is located here: https://tabletop.events/conventions/virtual-greyhawk-con-2024 if you want to see what all is still going on and or what the event looks like for future planning.
As for me, I continue to work on Curse on a Coastal town. My editor made a suggestion that instead of all the wordiness that I am writing for this module because it being a mystery, to pare it down and make it more simplistic to read and run for a DM. So I am re-writing it in a style influenced by Shadowdark. This is my first time writing a mystery themed module for adventures to attempt to solve what is going on in this small coastal town in Saltmarsh. You can place it anywhere you want along a coast in your campaign/world. Here is a WIP cover for it:

I will put out another news letter later this month. I have a lot of irons in the fire currently and will have a better idea on some of those later to share with you. Enjoy your day and ask yourself, Have you been gaming lately? Get out there and have fun!.
