A whimsical illustration of a wizard at a desk surrounded by magical creatures and objects, promoting the Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo taking place from January 15-18, 2026.

PAGE 3 is in the books and from all that I seen while there, everyone had an amazing time. I want to thank Ron Meischker, Phil Wert, J Laurel Jennings, Ed Stark and all the staff and volunteers for the hard work they put in to make this a fantastic experience for all. The expansion of 80,000 sqft of gaming space was used fully this year. This area had multiple gaming areas showcasing Troll Lord Games, Baldman Game’s Legends of Greyhawk, Cannibaal Publishing, Wardens of the Eastern Marches, a fully stocked concession stand, The Greyhawk Community Area, Board Game Library area, Open Gaming areas and multiple gaming areas for scheduled play. Also, there was a Down the Dark Stair Shadowdark continuous play area where guest DM’s would switch out and players could pop in at the top of the hour play and pop back out if needed to make a scheduled seminar or game.

A smiling woman in black clothing with a backpack stands next to a bulletin board covered in various papers and forms, labeled 'Wall of the Fallen'.

All the death …… those poor characters and the glee of Kelsey.

Cannibaal Publishing had an area for the first time for gaming and selling products. There were an incredible amount of people that stopped by throughout the convention.

A collection of boxes stacked beside a folding hand truck and a padded bench on a concrete floor.
An empty indoor space with a polished concrete floor and black curtains on the sides, featuring a small stack of boxes and a trash can in the background.

This was my space for the convention. (before)

Interior view of an event space featuring several tables with black tablecloths and folding chairs, along with displays and a sign indicating restrooms.

I did go out and got a table cloth for the merchandise table to hide the boxes. Lesson learned for a first time convention space for us. Everyone commented on our round tablecloths promoting Cannibaal Publishing.

A vendor booth showcasing Cannibal Publishing materials at an event. The display includes books, promotional posters, a large banner, and boxes of merchandise, set against a black backdrop.

This was the setup for our merchandise, what is coming soon from us, and The Dark Depths prototype display. I moved the prints to their own table out front and Joey Docil was there available to sign his awesome art. Cannibaal Publishing had 52 hours of Shadowdark content scheduled for PAGE, the most of anyone. The table for my games received many comments of the awesome terrain that I was using courtesy of Thunderstruck Workshop:

A tabletop gaming scene featuring a detailed miniature fortress with wooden walls, towers, and a church, surrounded by a group of miniature figures and a large creature figure. The background includes a black and white star-patterned fabric.

You can’t beat the quality and price for table ready terrain.

PAGE always has a plethora of special guests. It is amazing how many and the access everyone has to special guests that attend PAGE. One person at my table mentioned that he could have brought a tub of books and got them all signed if he had known how easy it was. We had some Greyhawk royalty stop by our booth to check out our books:

Three men standing together at an event, one holding a board game while smiling. The backdrop features black curtains, tables, and various promotional materials.

Eric Mona himself seen that art in the background, came over and picked up The World of Greyhawk Gazetteer Revised and The Forgotten Tomb of Acererak. Eric is an icon in the Greyhawk community and it was an honor to have him stop by and pick up some of our merch. We also had Darling Creepshow, Littlebones309, and Uncle Kurt stop in during PAGE. All three are amazing content creators, writers and designers for TTRPG’s and Darling does some amazing work with miniature painting. You can check them out :

PAGE also had cosplay ,droids and more. Here are some additional pictures:

These are not the droids we are looking for ……

Kelsey Dione and Baron De Ropp stopped by to check out the prototype of The Dark Depths. I got to explain the project to them and what all I have done with it so far and where it is headed and potential release. If you are looking for a very special convention to attend with amazing DM’s then you should check out Green Dragon Fest https://greendragonfest.com/ ran by Baron De Ropp in Knoxville, TN. I also got to see Bob World Builder, Grace World Destroyer, Professor DM, Bill Barsh, Justin Alexander and Sly Flourish Mike Shea and his wife Michelle. On the last day Toni Winslow-Brill and Jeremy Vosberg stopped by and shortly thereafter we were joined by Eric Menge to talk about Greyhawk, Baldman Games, and what to look forward to in the future. It really was an awesome convention. I was locked to my area most of the time and didn’t get much time to venture out or attend seminars or play in other games this year, but I have to tell you, the pure joy, happiness and fun that the players experienced with the Cannibaal Publishing games made my day. I know we have something special and I am so happy that we get to provide fun and exciting games to the community.

An empty event space featuring several tables and chairs, with stacked boxes nearby and black curtains in the background. Signs for restrooms and exits are visible.

By the Community, For the Community. Until next time.

Very Respectfully,
