This month we are “back to work” *whipcrack like the orc in Warcraft says. I am continuing to convert my material for The Dark Depths which debuted at PAGE 4 with playtesting of three different adventures: Tides of Dread, The Defense of Driftwych, and The Still Grotto. I want to thank all of the people who signed up for my games and those that were on the waiting list. I received great feedback from all and am implementing those comments into the adventures.

The Dark Depths is designed to be used in the Shadowdark RPG system. I have been working on 2 of the zines simultaneously, Brinecastle and Coastal Raiding. In my spare time, I came up with underwater racing rules because who doesn’t want to run a course on a Giant Eel, Octopus, Great White Shark, Mosasaur, Giant Seahorse, and more through various underwater terrains, hazards and more! This will be playtested at Concoction 2026 in Vineland, NJ at the Vineland Convention Center May 29-31st.

The World of Greyhawk work continues as well. Telchuria Gazetteer writing continues and the outline for The Dragon Queen Returns is complete and writing for that will commence soon. The Lakofka Archive will be debuting the latest module from Len Lakofka: Embassy to the Pale. Embassy to the Pale will be debuted at Gary Con and limited print copies will be available.

The module will be available for free on the Cannibaal Publishing website and Anna B. Meyer’s website. I will put out links in next months newsletter prior to Gary Con so you will have a quick access to download the module for free from either place. It has amazing art from Del Teigeler https://www.artstation.com/dteigeler , amazing cartography work by Andy Duvall at https://sketchyvanrpg.com/ here is Andy’s map:

Detailed black and white map featuring mountainous regions labeled as Griff Mountains and Rakers, alongside forests such as Gamboge and Timberway. Notable locations include Grendep Bay, Ratik, and various geographic features within a hexagonal grid layout.

Please check them out if you are looking for amazing art or cartography work.

Curse on a Coastal Town, the Shadowdark adventure anthology is still in editing to work out the details with all the different adventures and scaling them to be able to be done in almost any order. It is harder than you think. So, I apologize for its delay. This will be the first major product to be released from Cannibaal Publishing and I want to get it right for our first impression with the community. I will have a better update for this in the next newsletter. More Shadowdark news is that Tomb of the Umbral King is in progress. It is fun managing 7-8 projects all through different stages …..
