This month I have a cornucopia of information for you all. Starting off with a last month carry over, NTRPG Con was from June 4 – 7th and our adventure The Forgotten Tomb of Acererak was nominated for the coveted Three Castles Award. Sadly we didn’t win, but just being nominated is a huge deal. My team and I were honored to have been nominated by experienced stalwarts of the community. I also submitted Ravages of the Mind from the Lakofka Archive but it did not make the cut.

If you ever get a chance to go to a convention, definitely try to go to NTRPG Con where you can play and meet many icons from the overall history of RPG’s. You could even meet Satan at his midnight auction I hear.
Cannibaal Publishing has been nominated again for Best Fan Publisher for an ENNIE in 2026! Please also check out CaslEntertainment as they have been nominated as well. A fantastic publisher making stuff happen a lot longer than us. https://www.caslentertainment.com/ I think voting is now open as well, got perform your gaming duty and vote for your favorite publisher.

On the Shadowdark front, Curse on a Coastal Town is hitting layout, finally ….., not really i promise. This book is a compilation of adventures that are designed to play in any order around a central theme and location. Written by William Henry Dvorak, Paul Jurdeczka and Troy Alleman, art by Joey Docil and Dan Smith <SMIF>, cover art by Farva <Fiverr>, and maps by Andy Duval, this adventure is great for a multi session short campaign or you could even take out each adventure and plop them into your own campaign. You know you didn’t make time to get ready for your game session so here you go, all ready and waiting.

Last month had the release of Ravenloft for 5.5 edition and we had planned to get this module out to coincide with that release within two weeks of it. Unfortunately no plan survives contact with the enemy and we hit a delay. It is about to go to editing and will look like it is going to come out next month, sorry. When it comes to project management and production, I try to plan for everything, bake in some slop time due to experience but I forgot about the portion of time required to order print proofs and verify them. Here is the cover again for your viewing:

Work continues on some other projects like the Telchura Gazetteer for the World of Greyhawk, Tomb of the Umbral King adventure for use with Shadowdark, The Dragon Queen Returns for Greyhawk, I know you all like Tiamat, another World of Greyhawk book that will be announced at a later date, revising Leviathan League Racing and a kids version that will be at PAGE 4, Lagoon League Racing!
I hope you all had a fun-filled holiday weekend, you all have your digits still and that you got some gaming in as well during Free RPG Day loot scrambles.
Very Respectfully,
Troy Alleman
