Hello all. I know it’s been a bit since my last newsletter. I have been busier than a one-legged person in an ass-kicking contest. Herding cats, managing projects, and dealing with delays or surprises that pop up. Maps are still being worked on for Curse on a Coastal Town. Once they are done then layout and that book will go up on Drivethru as a Shadowdark adventure anthology all tied together. You will be able to place it anywhere in the world you are running your game in.

Something Wicked is in its final round of edits. Once that is complete, off to layout and onto DMsGuild it will go. The outline is complete for part 2 and work will commence on it as soon as edits are done with part 1.

A high-action scene depicting a fierce battle between armored warriors and a large, roaring bear in a forest setting. One warrior is leaping from a tree, while two others confront the bear with spears near fallen logs and dense foliage.

Joey Docil created some art with some unruly owlbears so I wrote up an adventure around his art and will try to finish that up. It is set in Greyhawk and will be for 5.5e but as we all do, it can be easily converted to whatever edition you play or system.

Were any of you at GENCON? What did you think of the keynote speech from WotC? Conventions and your local game stores are the heart of TTRPG’s. Getting together with friends or making new ones at events is awesome. For conventions, Cannibaal Publishing will have PAGE Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo as its home convention, Concoction the sister con to PAGE held in Vineland, NJ will be on our list. PGX, Pittsburgh Gaming Expo is another that is close by that I went to last year and had a great time. I plan to become a member of GAMA and work Origins into that schedule as well. GaryCon in March and GameholeCon are two other conventions in consideration. It is difficult starting out and trying to figure out where to prioritize to go to. Which conventions will help you be noticed, get eyes on your products and a place where you can meet and talk to people in the industry. What conventions do you guys prefer and why?

A wide view of a large convention center filled with people attending GEN CON, featuring numerous tables and booths set up for various activities and games.

I have more announcements but there are not ready to be released just yet. I think you all will like them very much. A big one for The World of Greyhawk and one for Shadowdark.

There will be a kids version of Leviathan League Racing called Lagoon League Racing. It will debut at PAGE 4 and there will be a large floor track as the gameboard, hugh plush dice to roll, plushie animal game pieces and more. Prizes for the kids and multiple sessions will be ran for all to have fun.

An underwater scene featuring kids riding various sea creatures like sharks and dolphins, with jellyfish and coral in the background.

I hope you all are having fun with the remnants of summer before fall comes in on that cool breeze. Get out there roll some dice, have fun, and enjoy gaming with friends.

Very Respectfully,

Troy
