Well fall is upon us all. The clocks have been set back and the time of year of going to work when its dark and coming home when its dark has arrived. With colder and inclement weather provides the opportunity for people to get together indoors and play games. Less competing “summer time” schedules due to the nice weather will hopefully provide us all with more time to get together and roll some dice.

I want to start off with a thanks to Ade Sanya and his new store, Miniature Realms & Adventures located in Lancaster, PA. I was able to attend the grand opening there in October but more importantly I got to talk to Ade. He told me his plan for having an after school program to teach kids how to play games. I could see his passion and love for gaming and teaching. I was so moved by that and I love to support efforts like Ade’s so I sent him a box of Cannibaal Publishing material for him to use and or give out there in support of what he is trying to do.

A tabletop gaming setup featuring a detailed miniature landscape with palm trees, rocks, and a body of water, accompanied by various board game books and materials.

Places like this are invaluable to their communities. Gaming teaches kids many important life skills like critical thinking, problem solving, working as a team, helping each other in adversity and leadership. I will always be proud to support places like this.

For Shadowdark content, we are still awaiting some maps then Curse on a Coastal Town will go to layout and then to DriveThruRPG as our first Shadowdark Release. It has 10 adventures focused around a central coastal town that you can do in any order except the final fight. I will give further details after it has completed layout.

Now for what everyone was waiting for…… The World of Greyhawk news? Some of you may have seen a few posts that were made showing the cover of our next Greyhawk release coming in Jan 2027.

Cover of the book 'Greyhawk: Adventures Continues' featuring fantasy artwork, including a knight riding a griffon, dark creatures, and a dramatic background.

Greyhawk Adventures Continues well, continues what Jim Ward and his team did back in the day. This will be for 5.5e as that is what you have to write for Greyhawk to publish. All information is set for 576 CY which is what the standard is set forth by chapter 5 in the 2024 Dungeon Masters Guide on Greyhawk. The Table of Contents will include chapters for Deities and Clerics of Greyhawk, Creatures of Greyhawk, Hall of Heroes, Hall of Villains, Organizations, Secret Societies and Cults, Magic Spells (new Greyhawk named spells from Eli Tomorast, Ivid IV, Jallarzi, Keraptis, Kwalish, Lareth the Beautiful, Melf, Skeldran, Warnes Starcoat and Yolande. Magical Items of Greyhawk, Geography of Oerth including the Fading Lands, and Mysterious Places, Adventures in Greyhawk, How to Run Future Events (think past 576 CY), and a new zero level character creation with bonuses depending on where in the Flanaess you come from.

This has been a group project just like our motto: “For the Community, By the Community”. The purpose of this book is for the new people who have just found out about the World of Greyhawk and want to learn more. We want to recruit these new people and show them how awesome a place Greyhawk is to have adventures, explore the map, experience the people, places and things that make this setting so rich with 40+ years of content. We will be providing a “for further reading” references to guide people to that archive of published material.

I am also working on updating the website. I hope you all will enjoy the new look when I release it.

Homepage of Cannibaal Publishing featuring the tagline 'Explore Our Worlds' and showcasing various tabletop adventure genres: Fantasy, Adventure, and Horror.

Hope you all pause and think of something that you are thankful for. I am thankful for you all and the gaming community. Go out have fun and roll some dice.

Very Respectfully,

Troy
